Hi! I'm Daniel Blatner, a Computer Science and Interactive Media and Game Development student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
I spend my time part-time commentating for my school's ESports teams, engaging with the community through research into school history, and creating shareable interactive experiences.
When I think of the one word that's most important to me, it's communication.
Over the course of my work creating games, working with teams, and developing experiences I always come back to communication. I consider making games, simulations, or other interactive experiences a form of communication, taking a creative concept or important idea, and sharing it through creating unique and engaging experience. By developing high quality code, expressing creative vision, and collaborating with others, I find passion in development, design, and discussion.
You can find me honing new skills, finding new ways to make, and researching unique sets of data, APIs, and tools. I'm currently working on some AI-driven systems for game development, so keep an eye out for that!
